Hello All, I'd like to thank Chris for introducing an interesting way of treating allergies and other ailments. I've decided to make this our final take home quiz assignment so we will not have a take home quiz #9 and you will have till 3/17 to complete. Also please visit the Healing Music link and post your comments of the effectiveness of this approach. Next weekend 3/15 we will meet at Gavilan Community college (5055 Santa Teresa Blvd. Gilroy 95020)at 11 a.m. in room PB 9. Hello all and Thank you Frank for an excellent presentation! This week I have posted the Urinary sytem chapter and ask that you visit the discussion area and post your comments on the Diabetes article link. Also please complete the following quiz. Quiz #8 1. Hello all, Thank you Judith for getting us going with the presentations! For the rest of us please post (if you haven't done so already) you presentation topic, outlines and any A/V request- also tentative dates for your presentation. Hello all and Welcome to Anatomy and Physiology 2008 here at JFK. For the first week we will be familiarizing ourselves with the A&P website http://reymorales.pageout.net and attempt to complete the following items below. * Take home quiz #1 assignment which is the following: Answer the following questions in short answer form. Please limit your response to two pages. 1. Define Anatomy- 2. Define Physiology- 3. Define “Anatomy & Physiology”- 4. Briefly describe the structural characteristics of the four molecules of life found in the cell- Proteins, Lipids, Carbohydrates and Nucleic acids and give an example of what they do in the cell. 5. List and briefly describe the eleven organ systems found in the body. This assignment can be emailed to me at rmorales@gavilan.edu or handwritten and turned in next Monday 2/14. * Our last task for this week would be to visit the discussion area and introduce yourselve online and what topics of the human body intrest you.
